Coolie Labour inaugurated in Greece..
Companies are importing labour from India, Phillipines, Nepal, Bangladesh India Pakistan etc on 8 month contracts for the majority foreign owned tourist sector.
It's already in existence in the building trades in the large 15m city they are building in Southern Athens... They say contract labour will extend to Greeces version of National Express coaches then will probably extend across the board to other sectors...
This process of mass replacement migration went mainstream in terms of state sanctioned agreements with other states (China) started over a decade ago in the ports of Piraeus when Greek ship owners cut a deal with Chinese owned Costco group to ship in Chinese workers to work on the Greek docks...
Originally the seeds were sown when around a million Albanians arrived here in 1990 but they arrived illegally. Now coolie labour arrives by plane and is recognised by the state, the political parties the trade union federations.
The Greek govt has made a video to that effect where two migrants quip we shouldn't have come by boat but by plane as we would then have a guaranteed job.
The tourist sector of course is known to not follow any labour legislation or hours worked in the holiday islands, you work seven days a week 12 hr days. As this is widely known and wages haven't matched inflation Greeks wouldn't go and massive shortages of labour ensued. The govt of Mitsotakis sought to resolve the unemployment situation of third countries whilst throwing his own workers on the scrapheap.
A friend who works as a Chef in a 4x hotel in Athens told me the majority of the imported labour is unskilled and from farming areas. They are now imported into a semi industrialised state like Athens and many don't know any of the jobs and try as best as they can but the standards also end up dropping drastically as communication between nationalities isn't always possible and religious sentiments also come in between eg Pakistanis and Indians and many times even during busy periods they dissappear as staff to go praying.
Years ago when a lot younger when the Albanians arrived the joke was no one wants to be a cleaner let them do it. Slowly but surely Greeks were displaced from a multitude of labour. By the Olympics of 2004 hardly any worked in the building trades. Now they pride themselves on being unemployed architects working or owning coffee shops.
When chattel slavery was abolished we went over to coolie labour then wage slavery (of which coolie labour was a component). We are now returning to the 1830's again with a vengeance with the full political support of all the parties 'left' and right, the sold out trade union leaders, the presstitutes in the media etc.
If the coolie labour system spreads and it looks like nothing can stop it bar a total financial collapse there won't be many labour sectors left.
